Overview:
The Activity Log appears at the bottom of the Pet Owner Information Screen. When first viewing the panel, you will see all activity that has taken place in the profile, from most recent to oldest. You can show more activities by clicking the “Show more” button at the bottom of the listing. The system retains all Activity records, dating back to the creation of the Pet Owner account. The activity log displays, not only administrator activity in the Pet Owner's account, but also lists the Pet Owner's activity from their side of DocuPet as well.
How-To:
1. On the main page, click on “Pet Owner Record Search” and conduct a search for the Pet Owner Record you are looking for.
2. Click on the Pet Owner’s hyperlinked name in the populated results to access their DocuPet profile.
3. Scroll all the way down to the “Activities” section.
4. To help narrow down your search use the available filters:
a. At the top of the screen, drop-down and date selectors can be found.
These can be used to isolate Activities by Type and within date ranges.
b. After making selections, click the blue “Filter button” to show filtered results.
c. Click the grey “RESET” button to clear any filter selections and view all activities.
*Each activity row has the following information:
- Date: Shown as Month, Day, Year and time in your cities timezone
- Example: Nov 21st, 2022 - 06:45:25 PST
- Example: Nov 21st, 2022 - 06:45:25 PST
- Type:
- Address: The pet owner’s address
- Pet License: Licenses associated with pets on the account
- Order: Orders associated with the pet owner
- Order Note: Notes on any of the pet owner’s orders
- Payment: When a payment has been made
- Pet: Updates to different attributes of pets on the account
- Pet Note: Notes on the pet
- Pet Owner: Updates to the pet owner’s information
- Pet Tag: Updates related to pet tags associated with the pets
- Pet Owner Note
- Proof: Updates to rabies proof
- Reminder: Updates related to licensing reminders
- Description: This section will outline who made the change and what specifically occurred.
- Example - Camille Shaver (Animal Services Agency Admin - Id #112) changed Status of Rabies Proof (Id #22222) from "Waiting" to "Approved"

How-To Use The Activity Tracker for Investigations:
- Pet Owner Address Updates:
- See when an Address/City/Jurisdiction was changed and who made the update.
- This can help understand why a license product was purchased for the wrong jurisdiction.

- License Updates:
- See when a license renewal/expiration date was altered.
- This can change when the pet is eligible to renew.
- This can change when/if any communications were being sent.
- See when a license renewal/expiration date was altered.
- Pet Owner Detail Updates:
- When an email was added/updated
- This can affect if a communication was received
- When a phone number was added/updated
- This can affect if a communication was received
- When/if the pet owner became an online user
- When/if the pet owner had the senior flag turned on or off
- This can help understand why a the pet owner did not get issued a senior license product
- When an email was added/updated
Important Considerations:
Access to the activity tracker is available to all users who have the “View Pet Owner Account Activities” as well as “Look Up Pet Owner Information” permission levels selected.
Please note that any changes made on the account can cause a series of updates to reflect in the activity tracker. An example of a system change journey would be, if a new license was purchased, then the activity tracker will reflect the following:
- The order details
- The new license date
- The removal of any scheduled reminder letters
