What Is An Online Access Code And How Do Pet Owners Get One?

Overview:

The Online Access Code is a single use code that is designed to make it simple for Pet Owners to gain access to their online account.

Pet Owners that have created their own account with DocuPet do not need to utilize this code. This is only necessary for Pet Owners who licensed in person and an administrator created their DocuPet profile on the administrator's side of the DocuPet system.

Their access code can be found on all communications sent from DocuPet, including mailed renewal letters, emails, and printed receipts.

How-To:

  1. On the main page, go to “Pet Owner Record Search” and type in the first and last name of the Pet Owner you’re looking for.

  1. Next, click on their profile and look to the left side, where you'll find a section labeled "Online Access Code."

  2. There will be a code listed and beside it, a banner that says either “Offline Pet Owner” in red or “Online Pet Owner” in green.

Online Pet Owners: This is to signal that the Pet Owner has logged in and created their online DocuPet account.

Offline Pet Owners: This will signal that the Pet Owner has NOT created their online DocuPet account yet.

Important Considerations:

  • The Online Access Code can be found by the Pet Owner on all DocuPet communications. If they placed an order in person and gave an email for their profile, the access code can be found in their email.
