Overview:
Auditing your GIS data with the Authoritative Address Tool is a simple process that identifies any authoritative address records with missing components. It is important to review and update this data on a regular basis to ensure clean and accurate records.
How To:
1. On the main dashboard, scroll down to Data Management / Administration
2. Click on “Authoritative Address”
3. Expand the “Missing Information Filters” accordion and select a filter to find addresses missing that information.
4. Once the list populates, you can edit any of the addresses by clicking on View / Edit on the right hand side.
Remember: If Latitude and Longitude are the only filters missing from the address record, all you need to do is click 'Save' in the record, and they will populate accordingly.
