Overview
When creating Pet Owner accounts, one of the required fillable fields is the address section. There are different options for addresses in order to be as accommodating as possible to the Pet Owners in your community.
For example, the main licensing address needs to fall under your jurisdiction and match with an Authoritative Address record. You may run into some instances where the main address is not where the Pet Owner wants to receive renewal communications or their tags. In these cases, an alternative mailing address can be entered as well. This may come in handy if the Pet Owner uses a PO box to receive their mail - which would be highlighted in the ‘Additional Line’ section.
Licensing Address / Main Address: Matches with your GIS data and qualifies the Pet Owner for licensing in your jurisdiction.
If the Pet Owner has a separate mailing address, you have the option to add it to the account by unselecting the checkbox beside 'Mailing Address is the same as licensing address':
Mailing Address / PO Box: This is where all renewal communications and future tags will be shipped to.
