Overview:
Administrators in the DocuPet system may choose to input notes on a Pet Owner's profile for a variety of reasons. These notes remain on the Pet Owner's account and can only be removed by a DocuPet Admin Support Rep. if requested by a partner Admin.
How-To:
- On the main page, click on “Pet Owner Record Search” and utilize the search fields to locate the record of the Pet Owner you’re looking for.
- Click on the Pet Owner’s name from the results to access their DocuPet profile.
- Once on the Pet Owner’s profile, click on the “Edit” button.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Pet Owner information to the “Notes” section. Here you can add any notes you wish to place on the profile. You can also view any previous notes added to the profile along with the date and the author.
- Once you have entered the applicable note, select “Save Pet Owner Details”.
Important Considerations:
Keep in mind that these notes are for internal-use purposes only. Your organization as well as DocuPet staff will be able to view/create notes as necessary on both Pet and Pet Owners accounts. A Pet Owner does not have the ability to view/create notes.
