Overview:
To start, on the main page, scroll to Canvassing Management and click on Canvassing Runs.
When first entering the Canvassing Run Dashboard, select a Jurisdiction (if applicable) for which you wish to create or view Zones.
Click the green “FILTER” button to view a listing of all created Runs for the Jurisdiction selection you have made. No listings will appear when viewing the Canvassing Run Dashboard until they have been created.
Each listing includes the following columns:
ID: The unique DocuPet ID for each Run. Run IDs are created automatically by the software when Zones are created and cannot be altered.
Zone Name: The name of the Zone associated with the Run.
Assigned Rep: The name of the Canvassing Representative that has been assigned to a Run.
“Unassigned” will appear if the Run has been created but not yet assigned to a Canvassing Representative.
Started: The date that the Run was started. The Run is automatically started when the first visit is logged in the system.
Completed: The date that the Run was completed. The Run is completed only when a Canvassing Manager has entered a Completion Date for the Run on the Canvassing Run Screen. Note that the count of licenses sold in a Run starts on the Started Date and Ends on the Completed Date.
Total Visits: The count of Visits to be conducted in the Run. Subtasks in this column also show the number of Addresses that have not been visited (Unvisited), have been set to “Revisit” (Revisit), or have been visited (Visited).
Visits: The number of Visits that have been logged in the Run to present.
Progress: The percentage of visits logged compared to the number of total visits that are to be conducted.
Addresses with Pet Identified: The number of visits that are associated with a “Y” entry in the Visit Data. A “Y” would indicate that a licensable pet was identified at a residence, typically without speaking to a resident.
Important Considerations:
Canvassing Representatives will only see Runs that they have been assigned to.
Canvassing Managers will see all Runs in the list.
Users can sort any column by clicking the grey “UP and DOWN” arrows next to the column headings.
Users can search for any items on the page by entering text in the "Search" box and clicking "Enter" on their keyboard.
Users may view a Run by clicking on the dark blue “VIEW” button at the right side of any row. They may also Delete any Run for which the “DELETE” button appears in red. Only Runs that have not been started may be deleted to ensure that Run data is preserved.
