Direct Fulfillment - Replacement Tag

*Reminder: this is the process for providing over the counter tags ONLY - if you want the Replacement Tag to be shipped out to the Pet Owner, refer to this resource instead: How Do I Order A Replacement Tag.

How-To:

1. To provide a replacement tag, please first ensure the pet has a current license on file.

2. On the main page, click on “Pet Owner Record Search” and type in the first and last name of the pet owner you’re looking for.

3. From there, you’ll click on the pet owner’s name to access their DocuPet profile.

4. On the Pet Owner profile, look to the right hand side where the current pets are listed. Check for an active license on the pet's profile by expanding their information. 

Active License Example: (Green banner & Status= Active)

5. Once confirmed that there is a license on the account, we'll move forward with the ordering process. Scroll down to the "Order History" section and select "New Order".

6. At the top of the screen, if a default vendor does not populate, select the appropriate vendor before proceeding with the order.

7. Scroll down and click on "Replacement License Tags"

8. Select the pet that needs the Replacement Tag and the Replacement Tag product.

If you have Direct Fulfillment permission levels, you will see an additional line item under the Replacement Tag Product. The options will be:

*DocuPet Fulfillment Option: This tag will be shipped out to the Pet Owner.
*US Coded Dog House: You will be providing the Pet Owner the tag over the counter.

9. Click "Add to Order"

10. This will add the tag to your order summary, click "Continue" on the right hand side. 

11. Select your payment method and then click "Continue".

12. Once the payment has been entered, and the order is placed, the system will then prompt you to enter the code number located on the back of the physical pet tag you intend to hand to the Pet Owner. Click "Validate" to validate the tag number - this connects that specific tag with the license you are selling in this order.

13. After the tag number has been validated, click 'Complete Fulfillment'

Important: NEVER  click 'Skip' or the tag will not be connected to the pet's license.  

All done! You should now see the final Order Summary page. From here you can print the receipt and/or Pet License Proof for the pet owner if needed. Keep in mind, if the pet owner has an email on file, they will automatically be sent an order confirmation email with the receipt attached.
