Rabies Exemptions

Organizations that permit rabies vaccination exemptions can apply them directly from the pet’s profile.

How to Add a Rabies Exemption

1. Open the Pet Owner account.

2. Click on Edit beside the pet’s name.

3. Locate the Rabies Exempt section.

4. Select Yes and enter an Exemption Expiration Date, if applicable.

5. Click on Save Pet Details.

The pet's profile information will now reflect that the pet is exempt and show an exemption expiration date (if applicable). 

Important

• If rabies vaccination is required in your jurisdiction, valid documentation should be obtained according to your organization’s process.

• If your organization offers rabies exemptions, pets marked as exempt will be able to license online or in person without the requirement to upload or present a vaccination proof.

• If the exemption expiration date passes, the system will require updated rabies information.

• Ensure exemptions are applied in compliance with local regulations.
